Hereford Stampede is the counties one and only full contact American Football team. Initially established as a non contact (Flag Football) team back in 2015 by a small group of NFL fans – now a growing club playing the national game of the USA. Whilst competing in the British American Football Association (BAFA) flag football leagues, the Stampede made the playoffs both in their rookie and sophomore seasons and competing in numerous national tournaments.

Due to ever expanding squad numbers and thanks to a grant from Sport England, the decision was made to evolve the club to its full contact status. A number of local ‘sponsors’ have supported the organisation to ensure we have the coaches and equipment to build a successful team.

Looking ahead to our first season in the (BAFA) National leagues, we are constantly on the look out for new players, coaches and volunteers. You do not need to have previous experience to come along. We have all the equipment you need, qualified coaches to teach you the game, and a bar to socialise with the team after training!
